Honeywell STD775 Differential Pressure Transmitter
Honeywell STD775 Differential Pressure Transmitter: Complete Technical Specifications & Performance Data
The Honeywell STD775 Differential Pressure Transmitter belongs to the SmartLine® ST700 family, engineered around a high-performance piezoresistive sensor that integrates differential pressure measurement with on-chip static pressure and temperature compensation-3. The Honeywell STD775 Differential Pressure Transmitter is designed for critical process loops and high-value applications requiring exceptional accuracy and long-term reliability.
Performance Specifications
The Honeywell STD775 Differential Pressure Transmitter delivers reference accuracy of 0.065% of calibrated span, with optional 0.04% accuracy available for demanding applications-17. Long-term stability is rated at 0.025% of URL per year for up to five years of continuous operation. The transmitter achieves a 100:1 rangeability ratio, offering exceptional turndown capability that reduces inventory requirements. Dynamic response time reaches as fast as 100 milliseconds.
Pressure Ranges and Limits
The Honeywell STD775 Differential Pressure Transmitter features an upper range limit (URL) of 3,000 psi (210 bar) with a lower range limit (LRL) of -100 psi (-7.0 bar), and a minimum span of 30 psi (2.1 bar)-3. Maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) for the STD700 series is rated at 4,500 psi (310 bar), subject to approval agency and materials of construction-. Working pressure allowance is 31.5 MPa (approx. 4,570 psi).
Material Specifications
The Honeywell STD775 Differential Pressure Transmitter offers diaphragm material options including 316L stainless steel, Hastelloy® C-276, Monel® 400, and tantalum. Process wetted heads are available in 316 stainless steel, carbon steel (zinc-plated), Hastelloy C-276, or Monel 400-2. Standard fill fluid is DC® 200 silicone oil, with CTFE (fluorolube), DC® 704 (high-temperature silicone oil), or NEOBEE M-20 optional.
The enclosure is constructed of low-copper (<0.4%) aluminum alloy with pure polyester powder coating, meeting NEMA 4X, IP66/IP67, and NEMA 7 (explosion-proof) ratings. Stainless steel housing is optionally available-5.
Electrical and Communication
The Honeywell STD775 Differential Pressure Transmitter provides standard 4-20 mA analog output with HART® protocol (Version 7.0) digital communication. Supply voltage range is 10.8 to 42.4 Vdc (limited to 30 Vdc for intrinsic safety versions). Load resistance capability is 0 to 1440 ohms.
Environmental and Safety Certifications
Operating ambient temperature range is -40°C to +85°C. The Honeywell STD775 Differential Pressure Transmitter features integral dual seal design compliant with ANSI/NFPA 70-202 and ANSI/ISA 12.27.0. Full compliance with SIL 2/3 requirements is standard. Approval options include IECEx Explosion-proof, Intrinsically Safe, and Non-incendive classifications-2.
Display and Configuration
The modular LCD display features 0°, 90°, 180°, and 270° position adjustment capability. Measurement unit support includes Pa, kPa, MPa, kg/cm², torr, atm, inH₂O, mH₂O, bar, mbar, inHg, ftH₂O, mmH₂O, mmHg, and psi. External zero, span, and configuration capability is provided via two externally accessible buttons. On-board diagnostic capabilities provide advanced warning of potential failure events.
Physical Dimensions
The Honeywell STD775 Differential Pressure Transmitter weighs approximately 3.8 kg with aluminum housing. Process connections are available in 1/4″-NPT or 1/2″-NPT. Conduit acceptance accommodates up to 16 AWG (1.5 mm diameter) wire.
Applications
The Honeywell STD775 Differential Pressure Transmitter is ideal for custody transfer, energy and material balances, flow measurement with primary flow elements, hydrostatic tank gauging in closed vessels, filter monitoring, and furnace combustion airflow rate applications. It is fully tested and compliant with Experion® PKS standards for highest-level compatibility assurance.
