This section contains information for the flow and device configuration of the rosemount 3051SMV MultiVariable Transmitter. Each FOUNDATION Fieldbus host or configuration tool has different ways of displaying and performing operations. Some hosts will use Device Descriptions (DD) and DD methods to complete device configuration and will display data consistently across platforms. The DD can be found on the FieldComm Group website at FieldCommGroup.org. There is no requirement that a host or configuration tool support the features in the DD. For DeltaV™ users, the DD can be found at Emerson.com/DeltaV. This section will describe how to use the basic methods.
